Most trips today went to
Amsterdam but, as we had been on two cruises to Amsterdam in the last
18 months and had spent several holidays there, we decided to give the
local Town a visit. It was a Sunday so none of the shops were open (although
someone said they had found a supermarket open - when asked what they'd
bought they said "Cheese, cheese, cheese and cheese."). Main
street was not unpleasant but very quiet
and we walked to (presumably)
the Town Square, very nice with an interesting War Memorial.
Ah well, at least it didn't
rain! Back for lunch and to start the packing (off the ship first thing
in the morning).
