Souvenir programme for a match played at Wittersham, Kent to mark the centenary (102 years actually) of a match between two men of Benenden (Edward Gower Wenham and Richard Mills - the illustrations on the left below show these two with the Church of Benenden in the background) and eleven men of Oxney. The match, on the 4th. and 5th. of September 1834 was won by the two (198 to 132 over two innings). I'd be interested to know the result of the 1936 match (the almost blank page below states that the complete card will be printed there free of charge if presented at the Printing Van at the conclusion of the match but I'm over 70 years too late!)

I have now found the scorecard in "Cricket's Strangest Matches" by Andrew Ward (Robson 2004). The match was, apparently, broadcast on BBC Radio but the rain interfered and only one innings was played.
