Plum Warner (1873-1963)
Wisden Cricketer of the year 1904 and a special portrait 1921
Actually born in the West Indies but captain of Middlesex and England and had the misfortune to be Manager of the England touring party to Australia in 1932/33 (bodyline). He was much too nice a gentleman to have been subjected to that!
