A trip today so set the
alarm (even though it's Sunday). A land train collected us and gave
us a short trip through Rudesheim (bumpy but pleasant) then depositing
us at Siegried's Mechanical Music Museum
Siegfried's Mechanical Music Museum
and what a joy that was.
The young lady who conducted the tour had excellent English and a very
pleasant manner. She gave us much detail (sometimes this can be overkill
but this was interesting) and played several of the organs etc. Absolutely
fantastic and dashed clever!
Our excellent guide with one of the more complicated
exhibits

Gave the land train a miss
on the way back so that we could walk down the Drosselgasse. Charming
narrow street with lovely old buildings, plenty of nice shops, restaurants
etc. A lovely walk. Then along the Rheinstrasse to the boat.
