Saga Pearl II
We only visited Sochi because of the Russian annexation of the Crimea
and our two stops in the Ukraine were cancelled. We had the choice of
going on a trip (which was quite expensive) or getting a visa (£70
if my memory serves me well, which is very expensive for a
one day stop). No. Wait. We did have another choice! Because the Russians
had previously caused aggro on our trip to the Black Sea in 2008 and
this trip we decided that they wouldn't have any of our money and
we stayed on board (as did many others)!
