It was cheap (2 for the price of 1) so we decided to take a chance on Cruise & Maritime's new Flagship. Lucky it was cheap as the overall quality of the cruise was cheap (and not always cheerful). Still there were other people who had a much worse time than we did! Called at Amsterdam, Gibraltar, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Madeira and Lisbon. One big plus was the guest entertainers (only two), an elderly (sorry girls) comedy duo called Stage Door Johnny who did songs and gags about WW2 and Les Bryan, a comedian who, apparently, was a member of the Marauders, a 60s group that made one of my favourite 60s beat records, "That's what I want". What a bonus that was (and he's good)!
