Are we getting a bit blasé or is Cunard not all it's cracked up to be? I know we now compare every cruise we go on with Saga but surely the QE2 is better than P & O? Afraid not. The Ship is Majestic and the history of the ship is Majestic but the overall cruise is very like P & O. Unfortunately this means that it loses one of P & O's big plusses (no kids, at least on the Ships we went on). Not the only minus but I have a feeling that this Cruise was one of those where Cunard offered free places for kids. Not a huge problem but the swimming pool was taken over by them (surprising how many youngsters can't read, No Diving or Jumping - that doesn't refer to them) and, although the teenagers on board were a bit overawed to begin with they soon found their feet and gangs of them congregated effing and blinding around the ship. Surprisingly enough one of the things you don't get a lot of on "adult" cruises is swearing! Probably won't go on Cunard again (unless they make me an offer that I can't refuse). We visited Lisbon, Malaga, Rhodes (although we couldn't go ashore!), Kusadasi, Naples and Gibraltar.
